Beyond PopularLiving, my role involved developing innovative concepts for trade shows and company events, focusing on user engagement and content strategy. I worked closely with designers and marketing teams to maintain consistency and alignment across all content. Managing a talented team of writers, I ensured the delivery of high-quality content in various formats, always aiming to improve our user experience. This included analyzing competitor websites to identify opportunities for enhancement and assisting in developing strategies to optimize user experience across its sites.

PopularLiving.com

One of my key projects was acting as the managing editor for a lifestyle content site BENGEN launched called PopularLiving. This site focuses on health, wellness, cooking, and home technology topics. I managed a team of freelance writers and editors, creating articles daily. To streamline this process, I developed an AI-assisted workflow that generated SEO-optimized content briefs for the writers.

Additionally, I created an AI tool to identify relevant news stories, ensuring our content was timely and shareable. Collaborating with design and development teams, I helped build a custom Sanity CMS, which allowed for easy uploading and formatting of articles using various content modules to boost engagement. Over eight months, I oversaw the creation of over 150 articles.

 

Kubyo App/Website

I played a pivotal role in creating the copy for the Kubyo App and Website, ensuring a seamless user experience for this affiliate marketing platform. My responsibilities included crafting compelling app and website copy that clearly communicated the app's value proposition and functionalities. Additionally, I developed comprehensive user tutorials and guides, simplifying complex processes and enhancing user engagement.

To further support users, I wrote detailed video scripts that effectively demonstrated how to maximize the benefits of the Kubyo App. Through these efforts, I ensured that every piece of content was aligned with our brand voice and provided users with the information they needed to succeed in affiliate marketing.

 

Madrivo

For Madrivo, BenGen's performance marketing agency, I took on a multifaceted role that showcased my creative and strategic expertise. I developed engaging tradeshow booth concepts and themes that captured Madrivo's innovative spirit and value proposition. Additionally, I ghostwrote thought leadership pieces for Madrivo's leadership, positioning them as industry experts and enhancing the agency's credibility. My writing contributions extended to blog posts, case studies, and website copy for Madrivo and its brand clients, including Mutual of Omaha. Each piece was meticulously crafted to resonate with target audiences, highlight key achievements, and reinforce the brand's messaging and objectives.
